Nowadays it's very common to have hundreds or even thousands of valuable files stored on CDs and DVDs, like music, movies, software, etc. Camel Disc Catalog is a useful piece of software that will help you to organize all the contents of your discs in an easy and fast way.
In order to create catalogs for your discs, all you have to do is insert your disc to CD-ROM drive, and let the application scan it. The program will read your disc and once the scan process is done, it will show all the data on the main window. On the left panel of the main window, you will be able to create groups ('Photo', 'Music', 'Video', etc.) to save all the data of your discs to. These groups can have as many sub-groups as you wish.
A nice feature of the program is that there are two search modes, normal and advanced, letting you find anything easily and fast.
Besides, the program is able to generate reports of your catalogs and export them to files of the following extensions XLS, TXT, PDF, HTML, and RTF (this is a new feature of this new version).
Finally, another feature on this new version is the update of the disc scan process. Besides, you will be able to edit commentaries in the description window, and if you have video files in your collections, now there's a preview tab for them. In addition, more file types are supported (RAW, PDF, DOC, etc.).
